So, I think I’m becoming a morning person. I never, ever, ever thought those words would cross my lips, but I think it’s happening. For about a month or so, I’ve been waking up early, getting in my workout (and then it’s done for the day!!), showering and going through a morning “getting ready” routine. And honestly? I’m into it.

I’ve also slowly been replacing some of my products (as I run out) with all-natural, organic beauty products. After visiting Credo Beauty, I’ve been so inspired and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin.

Here’s what I’ve been loving…

My Skintype: Normal/Combination/Mild Redness/Uneven Skintone

Step 1: Cleanse/Exfoliate

I have been super into rose lately. Rose-scented anything has been my absolute jam. And this scrub is one of my favorite. I’ve actually had this for a little while and pulled it out of a bin when my rose obsession took over. The morning is my favorite time to use a gentle scrub – clean the night away and have a fresh face for makeup. This one by Korres is one of my favorites. It’s very gentle, exfoliates naturally and smells wonderful.

Step 2: Mist

So, I’ll be honest here. I’m not sure this step is absolutely necessary. It might just be a “princess step” in my morning process, but I do enjoy it. Not to mention, it smells like rose!! Jurlique’s Rosewater Balancing Mist is designed to restore, tone, and hydrate the skin in one simple spritz.

Step 3: Moisturize

I have been obsessed with Pai products. In my evening routine, I use the Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil and this day cream is just as amazing. The chamomile and rosehip are incredible calming and the moisturizer sinks into my skin so quickly (which is amazing right before I apply my makeup). It’s packed full of antioxidants and Omegas 3, 6, 7 & 9, and is incredibly light. Note: There is no SPF! The only thing that would make this moisturizer even better is if it had sun protection. So, I have to apply separately. I’ve been really loving this one and it doesn’t affect my makeup application (or smell too much like sunscreen).

Step 4: Wake up those eyes!

No one likes puffy eyes. And even though I might be slowly becoming a morning person, my eyes don’t always agree. I love this eye cream from Origins. It instantly de-puffs my eyes and helps to rid them of dark circles. There’s a teensy bit of shimmer in the formula and it really does a great job of redirecting light. Caveat: it’s not great under eye concealer, so if I have terrible dark circles or I’m going for a more full-coverage look, I’ll skip the eye cream altogether.

Step 5: Makeup!

Prepping my face for makeup is one of my favorite morning rituals (second only to the makeup application itself!). With these staples in my arsenal, I definitely get every day off to the right start.
