It’s been a short, but super busy week this week. San Jose for a video shoot on Tuesday, team offsite (which was really an “onsite offsite”) yesterday, whew! I’m looking forward to the weekend. It’s also the last weekend I’ll be in San Francisco for a while! Next week I’m off to Colorado for my annual fly fishing trip with my dad, then off to Europe for the following two! Cue excitement and serious nerves…

Here’s what I’m etcetera-ing this week!

LOVING

I do a great job of regularly exfoliating my face, but sometimes I neglect the rest of my body! This week I’ve been paying it a little more attention with the Soap & Glory Oat, Sugar & Shea Breakfast Scrub. Not only does it exfoliate beautifully, it smells absolutely incredible. Like sugar cookies but better. Seriously.

I know it sounds silly, but I’m loving the fans I finally purchased for the apartment. It’s been so so so hot in San Francisco and I’ve put off purchasing some good fans because it’s never hot for long and let’s be real, I don’t have storage for fans… But, this heat doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. So, I bit the bullet and got this one for the living room and this little guy for the bedroom. They do a pretty good job keeping me sane inside the house.

I’m going on a trip to Europe soon (happy dance!!) and I’m in the market for some travel size goodies. Enter: 3FLOZ.com. Basically the best site ever if you’re looking for travel-friendly products.

DOUBLE TAPPING

Good night this girl is talented. I’ve been following Beth for a while now (she has no idea who I am, obvs) but lately, I’ve been finding myself searching for her Instagram page and just scrolling, scrolling, scrolling. She’s one of the most talented flatlay artists/moody photographers/photo editors I follow and I had to share the wealth.

WANTING

Nordstrom just stocked a bunch of new iPhone 6 cases and I’m totally smitten. Bisous? Emoticon? Don’t Kill My Vibe? I’m having a really hard time deciding which one to go with. Good thing I have two phones (work + personal) that could both use a refresh to make my decision a bit easier.

As you now know, I’m traveling to Europe in a couple weeks and all I want is a new passport holder! This one is perfect and practical, this one is pretty cute too. I’m nervous about ordering something from Etsy as I’m not sure it’ll get here in time. Anyone have any recommendations?

EATING

Fresh cookies delivered in 20 minutes or less. Now, I’m not on the cookie-eating train at the moment, but let me tell you… There’s nothing quite like brightening someone’s day by sending them cookies! Affordable, delicious, and obviously incredibly convenient.

Even though I’m not on the cookie-eating train at the moment, I still have a killer sweet tooth. I’ve been curbing this sweet tooth with…grapes. I know, I know, how can grapes possibly be equated to a deliciously frosted cupcake or heck, even a Hershey’s kiss? For whatever reason, they’re really satisfying the craving. I even sampled a “Cotton Candy grape” at Whole Foods last weekend and holy crap they actually taste like cotton candy! I’ll be picking some up very soon. Oh, and #PROTIP: put some in the freezer for an awesome treat!

After our offsite yesterday, my boss took the team to one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco (per my suggestion, of course). Central Kitchen. With Thomas McNaughton as the chef-partner (the chef at Flour & Water), it’s hard not to be impressed. The food is inventive and the ambiance is impeccable. To give you an idea, the photo above is the entrance. Love.

WATCHING

I know I’m late to the game here, but The Boyfriend and I have started watching/re-watching The League before bed. I never really got into the show, but it’s absolutely hilarious. So funny and so relatable.

WORKING

I’ve been spending some of my spare time helping out this non-profit startup called Remake. With the mission of rebuilding human connections between makers, shoppers and brands, we’re hoping to build a conscious consumer movement to impact the lives of the people who make our stuff. We just published our second “Sustainable Fashionista” infographic and it’s pretty awesome.
