Proud to live in San Francisco

This past weekend was San Francisco Pride 2010. It was my first Pride experience in San Francisco. It was amazing.

As listed on sfpride.org, “The mission of the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration Committee is to educate the world, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture, and liberate our people.”

Online dating is hard. And not in the good way.

First of all, yes, I’m admitting to succumbing to the Internet to date. I’m not going to defend my decision to do so farther than stating that I don’t like to meet guys in bars or clubs as they’re only looking for one thing, and with my work and play schedule, it’s hard for me to meet anyone outside of, well, the Internet.

Second of all, it’s hard. Really hard.

Apparently, I’m a control freak.

I’ve said it a million times. “Create your reality.” You are in charge of your life and where it goes. Create your happiness. You are in control of what you do, who you associate yourself with, how hard you you work, what you achieve. You are in control of your life. Your destiny. Except one little part.

San Francisco: An Update

It’s been almost nine months to the day since I made the big move out to San Francisco. It’s pretty remarkable how quickly the time flies when you’re having the time of your life chasing your dreams.

A new kind of spring-cleaning

It’s time for spring-cleaning! Normally I would be rolling my eyes and doing everything possible to procrastinate. This year, however, I have an entirely new outlook on the art of spring-cleaning.

My (Digital) Vision Board

A vision board  is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you’ve torn out from various magazines. My physical vision board is a work in progress, but I thought I’d give you all a little insight.
