It’s always around this time of year when we all tend to get a little reflective. A little hopeful. And a lot determined. We tend to recap our previous year, wrap it up in a little box, discard, and then focus on planning for the upcoming year.

2012, was a year of movement. It was a year of exploration and realization. Last year was a year of pushing boundaries, testing limits, trying and failing and flailing and resurfacing stronger than before.

It doesn’t even feel like it should be Christmas this weekend.

Sometimes I think life moves too fast that you can’t even stop and take a breath, even during the holidays. I missed the Union Square tree lighting this year, and perhaps that was my “tradition” to kick off the holiday season in my new home — San Francisco.

2009: A Reflection

As the New Year approaches, it seems as though it’s a theme in the blogosphere to be writing about their New Year resolutions. Yes… I want to join a gym, lose 20 pounds, be a better person, blah blah blah. But let’s be real here for a second.
