Those of you who know me in person know that I am girly. I have a massive collection of makeup, hair products, lotion, jewelry, shoes, scarves, purses (really, it’s a problem). My love for all things style and fashion pushed me to create Aubergine or Eggplant, my personal style blog that I began updating in July of last year. I updated it a few times, having The Boyfriend take photos of me with my DSLR, editing them in Lightroom or Photoshop, creating a collage, then a story, then finally publishing.
Needless to say, it was a lot of work. And took a lot of time that I, frankly, just didn’t have.
So, in June, I decided to do things a little differently.
I’d still like to post the occasional “professional-grade” photography, but more often, I’ll be posting photos taken throughout the day with my iPhone. There are tons of apps (thanks, Alaina for all the tips!) that make iPhone photos look incredible, so I’ll be exploring many of those.
I’ll post photos of what I’m wearing, creative surroundings, products I love, and more — all fashion-, beauty- and style-related. I’m thrilled to share a little slice of my girly world.
Hi Lauren!
You should check out Pressgr.am It’s an iPhone app that let’s you update photos to your WordPress site. It’s pretty cool.
