I had a little too much fun shopping both online and in the store to take advantage of the Sephora Friends & Family 20% off discount. It’s always a great to stock up on favorites and “usuals” during this time (you know, make sure you have backups of everything you use every day!). I’ll save some of those items for another post, but here are some of the new products I splurged on and can’t wait to try out!
The colors in this palette are so phenomenal. All matte, shades and perfectly pigmented. The shades harmonize together and the formula is incredibly blendable, so I have no doubt that this palette will create the perfect fall smokey eye. The palette itself is very sturdy — nothing flimsy about it! Also, I love the big mirror.
I’m so excited to try these! I’ve read about them on countless other blogs and I’m really looking forward to giving these a shot. These Radiance Pads contain a blend of lactic and glycolic acids, which are two very effective forms of alpha hydroxy acid. AHAs are excellent exfoliants so I’m curious to see how they work to exfoliate in pad form.
I’m a sucker for a good exfoliant and the reviews on the Sephora website for this face polish are outstanding. I had to give it a try. I love pretty much anything Laura, so it wasn’t a hard sell for me. This polish is described as “creamy” with “purifying micro beads” that cleanses and exfoliates.
Bite is one of my new obsessions. I have several lip products from Bite and they never disappoint. This shade is actually the one that was on the model in the advertisement at Sephora and I fell in love with it. I can’t wait to wear this for the holidays (or just an average Friday night!).
I’m obsessed with the packaging of the new Kat Von D lipsticks. I’ve been very into vampy lips and thought this shade, a deep burgundy, would make a nice addition to my collection.
First of all, this smells incredible. Apparently, this scrub was really popular about 5 years ago, but I apparently missed that memo and am just catching on to the glory that is this scrub right now. Seriously though, the fragrance is out of this world. I’d like to eat the entire tub (not recommended). As far as how well it exfoliates, TBD.
This palette is everything I love from Nars. The bronzer is the same size as a full-size blush, and the blush and highlighter sizes are perfect for travel. You really only need to pack this guy in your travel bag and you’re set for your blush, bronzer and highlighter for a trip. I love the variety and the sleek packaging.
Is there anything from this list you would like me to review? Can’t wait to try out all the new goodies!
I love First Aid Beauty and that lipstick color is incredible.
keep up the post frequency!!! I’m happy to see you blogging more.
Thanks, Adam! Glad you like some of the changes around here. You’re always so supportive! 😉
Ohhh, I like that Bite color. My lipstick collection is a little out of control right now, but I just might…
Planning to use my VIB discount on the GlamGlow set. I’ve been coveting that for a while, and 20% will make a nice dent.
GlamGlow is totally worth it. Planning on doing a review of the collection in the coming weeks!
I have the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads and still have not used them. Shame on me. I love the Kat Von D lipstick and I have bought two of the Stila Eyes are the Window palettes because of you!
When you use them, let me know what you think! I’m still undecided. The Stila Eyes are the Window palettes are ahhhh-mazing! Which ones did you get?
That Kat Von D lipstick looks incredible! I’ve recently gotten into bold lip colors. I was always afraid to try them because I had thin lips but I’m starting to believe they make my lips look bigger. And vampy oxblood lips are my favvvv.
I am super into bold colors right now. And I’m so happy I’m finally straying from the usual bright red (which is still amazing). I’m obsessed with the vampy lip. So fun! You can definitely pull it off – love!
