By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be in Colorado on my way up to FairPlay. “Why Fairplay?” You may ask… This weekend marks the 23rd annual father/daughter fly fishing trip I take with my dad every year. It’s our special weekend away, catching huge fish in the middle of a river. It’s one of my favorite weekends of the year, and it’s finally here! Don’t worry, there will be lots of photos. But I’m also looking forward to unplugging (which I wrote about this week, in case you missed it).

So, while out practicing my cast this afternoon, here’s some light reading for you!

LOVING

The Boyfriend. This week especially. Perhaps it’s because I’m away from him right now and I know that the week after next I’ll be in Europe for two weeks, but we’ve had a really good week together. This tweet pretty much sums up our Sunday morning. And that was after a Saturday night of playing cards (Speed, of course) and video games.

The Shepod. One of my best friends started a podcast and it’s fabulous. If you’re interested in listening to two incredibly intelligent ladies (plus the occasional guest) talk about what most of us ladies won’t talk about, you have to tune in. Seriously, it’s so good.

DOUBLE TAPPING

First, a fair warning. These “gram’ers” are most definitely NSFW. But, they’re also absolutely amazing. They bring me sunshine on a cloudy day. They make me laugh when skies are grey. They have the words when I don’t know what to say. You get the picture.

WATCHING

Thanks to the lovely ladies on The Shepod, I am now hooked on TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex). It’s on Hulu and it’s basically Real Housewives plus Vanderpump Rules plus The Hills (awww remember The Hills?) except taking place in Essex (outside of London) and with a thick accent so think I actually have to have the subtitles on the entire time. Regardless, it’s amazingly horrible. So naturally, I have plans to watch all 15 seasons. Stat.

It’s a quick roundup this week (it’s a short week for me…yay!), but I’m ready to be unplugged. Have a wonderful weekend!
