I’ve noticed a trend in my little blogosphere. My favorite bloggers all seem to be going through some serious personal change — finding themselves, uncovering new realities, embracing the negative, and having general hard times. And maybe it’s just that “when it rains it pours” and sucky times rub off on each other. Or maybe it’s just that misery loves company and we all just commiserate. Or maybe, timing just sucks all around.
I just happen to like them. Quite a bit. Ok, fine. I like them a lot.
After an exciting (and spontaneous) conversation on Twitter about the ever-changing blogosphere, why we write, and why we should, the incredibly talented and always charming Ryan Knapp and I decided to join forces and weigh in on a topic (I think) is on many of your minds. Why do we write? Why do we blog? What should we be writing about? Keep it personal? Or professional? Here goes…

I’ve been told I live a charmed life, and to some extent, I believe it. It amazes and surprises me how my life has just fallen into place perfectly over the past year. And this experience was no different.
I love to cook. I love to try new restaurants. I love to eat. And I’m blessed enough to have found someone who shares these same passions (among others) with me! By now, you all know my SF Bestie, Casi. Well, she and I created a beautiful lovechild.
I’ve been thinking about Life Lists a lot lately. Not only do some of my favorite bloggers have them, I’m always looking for new things to do and new goals to reach, and I’ve been picking up several subliminal messages about starting a Life List of my own.
