Stockholm
Stockholm. The second destination on the Northern European tour I went on in October of this year. I’d heard amazing things about Stockholm — the food, the people, the scenery.

Copenhagen was the first destination on the work trip I was blessed to take over the past two weeks. We spent a four days there and it was amazing.
This trip to Europe inspired me to pack a little less. When I travel, I tend to bring wayyy too many things with me – especially when it comes to toiletries and beauty products. I succumb to the “well, I’ll just throw it in there just in case” syndrome.
In the spirit of travel, instead of sharing what I’m “etcetera-ing” this week, I’m sharing the essentials I’m packing. These are the items I absolutely can’t live without — especially for an international trip (with a super long flight).
By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be in Colorado on my way up to FairPlay. “Why Fairplay?” You may ask… This weekend marks the 23rd annual father/daughter fly fishing trip I take with my dad every year.
But what I’ve come to realize is that’s not enough. It’s not enough to turn your phone or computer or iPad or television off for a few hours.
It’s been a short, but super busy week this week. San Jose for a video shoot on Tuesday, team offsite (which was really an “onsite offsite”) yesterday, whew! I’m looking forward to the weekend.
There are few things I like less than being unprepared. I prefer to have certain things with me at (almost) all times that I might need while out and about.
